Meet the Staff

Brown County Women’s Health (BCWH) was incorporated June 11, 2012 in Ohio as a non-profit Limited Liability Corporation (LLC).

BCWH spread its wings as a result of Women’s Services closing at the hospital in Georgetown, OH. Since Drs. Patridge and Varnau lived in Georgetown, and had a passion to continue caring for local women, they started this non-profit OB/GYN practice. Drs. Patridge and Varnau together have over 60+ years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Starting June 2020, BCWH stopped providing obstetric care. Dr. Barbra J. Patridge passed away on May 29, 2025.

In my spare time I love to spend time with family – especially my grandchildren. I also work with my pastor doing volunteer work for Brown County probation department working with offenders of domestic violence and those in need of drug and alcohol counseling.

My vision is that BCWH becomes known as a caring and friendly practice that takes care of all the women’s health needs in Brown County and the surrounding communities.

I am a certified medical assistant and have worked on a degree in medical technology and enjoy working in the healthcare field taking care of the patients helping to deliver exceptional care.
